Dennis Dane is a 2003 graduate of the University of Northwestern–St. Paul and has been a CPA since 2006. He launched Dane Tax Solutions, LLC in June 2010 with a passion for helping individuals and small business owners with tax consulting and strategic planning matters. In his spare time, he enjoys being with his wife, Shannon, and their three children, exploring the North Shore and relaxing in the outdoors. Dennis also enjoys staying active by running and biking.
Kyle Schantzen–Kyle joined Dane Tax in December of 2020. He graduated from the University of St. Thomas in 2005 and spent the next 7 years in public accounting with Grant Thornton LLP. In 2013 he made the transition into the tax group at Opus Holding, LLC working on large business and individual returns until joining Dane Tax. Kyle along with his wife Heidi, spend a lot of time in hockey rinks watching their three boys play hockey, a sport he grew up playing in northern Minnesota. In his spare time, Kyle enjoys spending time with his family, as well as playing hockey and golf.
Ani Ahmed–Ani Ahmed joined our team in January 2023. Ani spent most of her early teenage years working at her uncle’s tax firm where she first developed a love for accounting. Since then, she graduated from Metropolitan State University where she majored in finance and spent 3+ years preparing tax returns and processing payroll. When she’s not busy with tax season, Ani spends lots of time volunteering in her community, traveling to tropical destinations and spending time with her family and friends.
Pamela Vertina–Dane Tax solutions welcomed Pamela as the Office Manager in August in 2021. Pamela graduated from Metropolitan State University with a BA in professional communications. Prior to Dane Tax Solutions, she worked in education for over 20 years assisting families with student registrations and serving as a Public Relations Coordinator for a Minneapolis Public High School. During the summer, you will often find her playing pickle ball and discovering new bike trails with her husband, Bryan. She also enjoys knitting, making jewelry, volunteering, and spending time with family and friends. Pamela is excited to be part of the Dane Tax Solutions team and looks forward to meeting you.
Steve Susich–Steve has been a bookkeeper at Dane Tax Solutions since 2014. Having Steve in the office has allowed us to expand and grow our bookkeeping services. Prior to working at Dane Tax Solutions Steve was a senior accountant for eight years at a private company. In his spare time Steve enjoys playing golf and going to his cabin.
